Go from Autumn Sensory Box to Autumn Sensory Play Table

Take last year's Autumn Sensory Box and make one simple change...

Put everything on a small table for a semi-permanent fixture for a few weeks.

Re-ignite their play and let them take complete ownership.

Make an apple tree from tree blocks and fairy wool...

Let them choose other props from the Seasonal Table...

and mix with natural treasures from an Autumnal walk in the woods.

From Montessori Sensorial Box to Steiner Free Play

Enjoy

Look What We Won: Gorgeous King Winter!

We are SO lucky to have won this amazing creature
He is just what we needed.

Jack Frost seems a bit put out now that the Big Man of Winter has arrived.
Here he is all settled in pride of place on our seasonal table.
Big Seed is very proud of him and loves his curly beard.
Thank you so much Ancient Hearth:
He will be treasured and displayed for many years to come.

Our Autumn Table

Now that my camera is back I can show you our Autumn Table.

Along with the squirrel, hedgehog, gnomes, etc, Big Seed chose
some orange lolly sticks and 2 orange cars.
This reminds me that it is HIS table really, and if this is his interpretation of autumn colours,
I can go with it.

This is his collection of Autumn crystals.
We are so lucky to have a crystal shop open up in such a small neighbourhood!

Feel free to share your link of your autumn table
